Brazilian President Dilma Rouseff met with other BRICS nations – Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa – to discuss the formation of a new development back alternative to the American World Bank. A meeting between China and Brazil signed an agreement to trade in their domestic currencies to lessen their dependence on the American dollar.  Protests and social movements in Brazil voice their support of the situation in Palestine and the World Social Forum. President Dilma Rouseff is also confident that she will be victorious in the upcoming 2014 election.
