Libya

Armed protesters stormed the eastern Libyan port of Zueitina last week demanding oil exports to be halted hours after workers had resumed operations following a temporary strike where they demanded a change in management, citing poor work conditions. Meanwhile, the International Criminal Court has once again called on the Libyan government to release the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s son Saif al-Islam into its custody, maintaining that Libya is obligated to surrender the younger Gaddafi to the court as part of its agreement with the ICC.
